Qualifications

• Owned a consumer subscription metric with before/after figures you can discuss.
• Built demand where none existed.
• Opened a distribution partnership with a telco, insurer, retailer, health or community organisation.
• Owned activation or retention initiatives, such as onboarding, engagement or churn work.

Responsibilities

• Win paying customers and manage subscription acquisition and retention from first paid customer.
• Keep active users including non-paying users.
• Open distribution partnerships and decide which channels are worthwhile.
• Extend the growth engine to improve paid conversion and retention.
• Set pricing and packaging based on what customers actually do.
• Talk to customers often enough that product decisions rest on behavior and feedback.
• Hire the first commercial people as the company grows beyond one founder.
