Job summary

Go Figured on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated bookkeeper to join our friendly team. You’ll own client assignments, perform bank reconciliations, payroll, superannuation, ATO compliance, BAS, and cashflow forecasting, using a modern tech stack.

You’ll enjoy flexible work options, including up to two days per week from home or five shorter days to fit family life. Training and peer support are ongoing to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping required.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software.
• Familiarity with financial compliance and BAS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of bookkeeping services for clients, including reconciliations, payables/receivables, payroll, superannuation, BAS and cashflow reporting.
• Handle proactive client communication and file management with a tech stack to automate routine tasks.
• Contribute to team meetings and share knowledge.

What you’ll do

Working as part of an experienced and collaborative team, you’ll provide a range of bookkeeping services to clients, including bank reconciliations, aged payable and receivable, payroll, superannuation, ATO compliance, cashflow forecasting and reporting, and BAS.

You’ll also handle proactive client communication and file management, utilising a strong tech stack to automate mundane tasks and allow more time for complex work, client interaction and advisory services.

You’ll contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement, sharing what you know and learning from others across the team.

What you’ll need

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is essential - all our team are certified
• Exposure to various cloud-based accounting software including Xero (essential) and a working knowledge of MYOB would be helpful
• A strong affinity with technology
• Full time Australian working rights
• Xero Certification and experience in a commercial bookkeeping practice or managing multiple clients concurrently would be advantageous but is not essential
