Job summary

Go Figured is seeking a dedicated bookkeeper to join a friendly, tech-driven team in Australia. You’ll deliver a range of bookkeeping services, including reconciliations, payroll, BAS, and cashflow forecasting, while embracing automation to increase efficiency and client value.

You’ll enjoy a flexible schedule with up to 2 days per week from home or five shorter days to suit family commitments, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping required and held by all team.
• Experience with Xero preferred; MYOB helpful.
• Australian working rights required.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, BAS.
• Utilize tech stack to automate mundane tasks and enable advisory work.
• Communicate proactively with clients and manage files.
• Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

Working as part of an experienced and collaborative team, you'll provide a range of bookkeeping services to clients, including bank reconciliations, aged payable and receivable, payroll, superannuation, ATO compliance, cashflow forecasting and reporting, and BAS.

You'll also handle proactive client communication and file management, utilising a strong tech stack to automate mundane tasks and allow more time for complex work, client interaction and advisory services.

You'll contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement, sharing what you know and learning from others across the team.

What you’ll need

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is essential - all our team are certified
• Exposure to various cloud-based accounting software including Xero (essential) and a working knowledge of MYOB would be helpful
• A strong affinity with technology
• Full time Australian working rights
• Xero Certification and experience in a commercial bookkeeping practice or managing multiple clients concurrently would be advantageous but is not essential
