AGC Services is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Area Supervisor to oversee daily operations across Queensland commercial sites. You will lead cleaning staff, conduct audits, maintain high standards and build strong client relationships to ensure contract targets are met.

You will promote safety, manage resources and support recruitment and training while collaborating with management and clients to deliver high-quality service.

• Proven experience supervising or managing employees, preferably within the commercial cleaning industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage a diverse workforce.
• Sound knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, periodical cleaning, equipment, chemicals and safe work procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and employee relationships.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.
• A proactive approach to workplace health and safety and risk management.
• The ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally.
• Experience conducting site inspections, quality audits and performance reviews.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email and operational reporting systems.
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a broader management team.
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between commercial sites throughout Queensland.
• Flexibility to work varied hours when operational requirements demand.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the day to day cleaning operations across allocated commercial sites, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with client specifications and contractual requirements.
• Lead, supervise, train and motivate cleaning staff to achieve high standards of performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure cleaning standards, presentation and service delivery expectations are consistently achieved.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, responding promptly and professionally to feedback, requests and complaints.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance and productivity, addressing issues and providing coaching and support where required.
• Ensure all employees follow company policies, safe work procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture, identifying hazards, assessing risks and implementing appropriate control measures.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals, equipment and machinery are used, stored and maintained safely and correctly.
• Monitor consumables, equipment and site resources, ensuring effective stock control and cost management.
• Review operational processes and identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Complete site reports, cleaning audits, incident reports and other required operational documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees.
• Work collaboratively with management, clients and operational teams to achieve business objectives and contract targets.

About the Role

As a Commercial Cleaning Area Supervisor, you will play an important role in leading, supporting and developing our cleaning teams to deliver high quality cleaning services across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout Queensland.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, supervising employees, maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring contract requirements are met and building strong working relationships with clients.

You will lead by example, promote a positive workplace culture and drive accountability, operational efficiency, workplace health and safety, and continuous improvement across all assigned sites.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold:

• Current Queensland or recognised equivalent driver’s licence.
  Current National Police Clearance
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar operational environment.
