Think Commercial is seeking a reliable Commercial Cleaner for our Cairns-based team. The role involves cleaning across multiple sites with high attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Applicants should have previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment, a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle. Shift flexibility and a proactive, customer-focused approach are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is mandatory, preferably in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Carry out housekeeping duties including preparing rooms, changing linen and replenishing amenities.
• Ensuring public areas are presented to a high standard.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens and common areas to a high standard.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal appropriately.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report low stock levels.
• Follow daily task lists and instructions provided.
• Ensure all sites are maintained in a safe, hygienic and presentable condition.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and report any maintenance issues or hazards.
• Work across multiple sites in Cairns with flexibility in shifts and tasks.
• Uphold workplace health and safety standards at all times.
• Provide friendly and professional service when working in client environments.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Cleaner with a strong eye for detail to join our Cairns-based team immediately. This position offers flexibility and variety, with work available across multiple sites throughout Cairns.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a commercial cleaning capacity, have high level cleaning standards and take pride in their work. They will have the ability to use initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision in an effective and efficient manner.
