Job summary

Capital SMART is seeking a Production Manager for our SMART Vermont team to lead a high-performing workshop and ensure OEM-standard repairs are delivered with excellence. This full-time, Monday–Friday role requires driving productivity, coordinating parts and materials, and mentoring a capable team to sustain top-tier service across our Australian and New Zealand operations.

You’ll oversee the end-to-end repair process, maintain safety and quality, and collaborate with leadership to uphold

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in collision repair environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
• Commitment to safety, quality, and team success.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, efficient, high-performing workshop.
• Manage end-to-end repair process from arrival to completion.
• Ensure repairs are on time, within scope, and high quality.
• Coordinate parts, paint and consumables to keep production flowing.
• Drive productivity to meet targets and exceed customer expectations.
• Support site profitability while maintaining service standards.
• Mentor and motivate team to perform at their best.
• Maintain an organized, professional workshop.
