Job summary

You will work within a collaborative team, use data to inform teaching, support diversity, and contribute to school improvement as part of the classroom teacher stream Range 1/Range 2.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Attend meetings, parent/teacher meetings, camps and excursions; undertake duties as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning, wellbeing and engagement.
