Teys Australia is seeking a Cold Store Operator to join the Load Out team at the Naracoorte site in South Australia. The role requires stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced meatworks warehouse.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of forklift experience, can work in cold environments, and are eligible to work in Australia. The position offers an attractive hourly rate and opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen or permanent residency with full working rights.
• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Q-Fever vaccination or willingness to get it.
• Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment.
• Record and maintain accurate inventory using computerized systems.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment to meet company standards.
• Perform regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and warehouse safety standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a Cold Store Operator to join theLoad Out team based at our Naracoorte processing site in South Australia.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, andthe ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in awarehouse or logistics role is desired, along with knowledge of warehouseoperations and safety protocols.

A Cold Store Operator in a meatworks facility is responsiblefor managing the incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse.

Their dutiesinclude:

• Loadingand unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment.
• Recordingand maintaining accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Inspectingincoming & outgoing shipments of supplies, equipment, and products.
• Picking,packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Performingregular inventory audits to identify discrepancies or shortages.
• Complyingwith health and safety regulations and ensuring warehouse safety standards aremet.

About You

You must meet the following requirements:
