Job summary

Labourforce is seeking candidates for Cold Storage Voice Picker roles in the Eastern Creek area. Work will be in chiller and freezer environments, with day shifts Monday to Friday and potential overtime.

Starting times vary, and you may be required to work up to 10 hours per day. Applicants should have experience in warehousing, voice picking, EPJ operation, and a current driver’s licence with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the warehousing industry.
• Previous experience operating Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ).
• Experience working in cold storage environments (minus 5 to minus 28 degrees).
• Experience with pick & pack and pallet stacking on pallets.
• Voice picking experience is highly regarded.
• Pallet stacking experience.
• Flexibility for start times and standby shifts rostering.
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to work overtime and day/afternoon shifts.
• Physically fit and in good health.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong, reliable work history.
• Two work referees.
• Availability for overtime and weekends.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and own transport.
• Team player.

COLD Storage Voice Pickers Wanted - Eastern Creek - AM Shifts Available

Our business partner based in the Eastern Creek area is a Australian Owned organization that delivers leading edge supply chain management systems and cost effective logistics solutions to their customers within the food industry.

This position will be working in the Chiller and Freezer room, if you are unable to work in cold environments please do not apply.

Pay rate will be $39.62 per hour!!! probation rate + Allowances.

after 6 months pay rate will be increased to $45.43 per hour

DAY SHIFTS on offer Monday – Friday

Flexibility will be required as the hours per day potentially will be up to 10 hours daily where required

Start times will be as below

Morning Shift - Start times will be Between 7am , 9am & 10am shifts start times - flexibility will see you stand out from the crowd.

We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following selection criteria:

• knowledge of the warehousing industry
• Previous experience operating and Electric Pallet Jack EPJ
• Previous experience working in cold Storage - Freezers and Chiller minus5 degrees and possibly minus28 degrees
• Experience with Pick & Pack and knowledge oncarton stackingon pallets
• Previous experience withVOICE PICKING
• Experience with pallet stacking
• MUST be flexible for the mentioned start times

• Forklift licence and experience with high reach( DESIRABLEBUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
