We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Pickers to join our client's dynamic cold chain distribution operation. If you have warehouse picking experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for ongoing work with competitive shift allowances, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking orders within a fast-paced distribution environment. Picking food products for supermarket stores, weight of items ranges from 4kg through to 20kg.

Your duties will include:

• Voice picking using blue tooth headset
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Working in chiller (4 degrees) freezer (minus 28 degrees) environments
• Manual handling and moving products
• Operating electric pallet jack or forklifts where required
• Meeting overall performance targetsFollowing all workplace health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements
• AM Shift: 5:00am start
• PM Shift: 1:30pm start

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to work in cold/chiller and freezer environments
• Ability to safely lift and move products
• Ability and willingness to meet performance targets
• Strong reliability and attendance
• Ability to work 5 shifts per week, including one weekend shift as part of your roster
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Ability to pass a police background check
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol test
