Merivale is hiring experienced Cocktail Bartenders to join our teams across a range of Merivale venues in NSW. You’ll know your classics, take pride in every drink, and enjoy engaging with guests as you balance speed with quality during busy services.

Bring your cocktail expertise, a friendly and confident approach, and a desire to learn while working evenings and weekends. NSW RSA is required for this role across multiple venues in our hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy bar or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and techniques.
• Ability to balance speed and quality during peak service.
• Friendly, confident approach and willingness to support the team.
• Interest in developing drinks knowledge and learning new skills.
• Current NSW RSA and availability to work evenings and weekends.

Job Description

We’re looking for experienced Cocktail Bartenders to join our teams across a range of Merivale venues. From busy restaurant bars to late-night cocktail spots, we have opportunities to suit different styles and experience.

You’ll know your classics, take pride in every drink and enjoy getting to know the guests on the other side of the bar. Whether you’re recommending a new favourite or keeping up with a busy service, you’ll bring strong cocktail knowledge, attention to detail and a welcoming approach.

In this role, you’ll:

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails with consistency, care and pace.
• Guide guests through the drink’s menu with confident, personalised recommendations.
• Stay on top of bar preparation, stock and presentation throughout service.
• Work closely with the wider venue team to keep service running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organised bar and uphold responsible service standards.
