Job summary

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) is seeking a Caravan Park Housekeeping Supervisor to lead housekeeping operations across Marengo Family Caravan Park, Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve and Skenes Creek Foreshore Reserve.

This hands-on leadership role will oversee daily cleaning, ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and coordinate across multiple sites along Victoria's iconic coastline.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising staff within housekeeping, accommodation, hospitality or similar.
• Strong cleaning skills and high presentation standards.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with manual handling and safe cleaning chemical practices is desirable.
• Current First Aid Certificate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and supervise housekeeping staff across multiple parks to ensure high cleaning standards.
• Coordinate daily cleaning activities across cabins, amenities, laundries and shared facilities.
• Assist with staff rosters to meet operational demands across three parks.
• Manage housekeeping inventory including linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.
• Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules.
• Undertake cleaning duties as required (vacuuming, mopping, laundering, bed making).
• Respond to guest enquiries and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain communication with management on operations and staffing.
