Job summary

Vulcan, based in Western Australia, is hiring for a production/warehouse role within its metals processing operation. You will operate saws and processing equipment to cut steel and aluminium to customer specifications, and ensure quality by measuring materials.

The role runs a 5am–1pm shift, requires experience with CNC bandsaws or similar machinery, and a safety-conscious approach. Prior warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 20 kg, and a commitment to a clean, safe workspace are

Qualifications

• CNC bandsaw or other CNC machinery experience.
• Previous experience in a Production/Warehousing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs.
• Sound understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and processing equipment to cut steel and aluminium to customer specifications.
• Measure and check material to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Load, unload and handle stock safely.
• Prepare processed orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Assist with general warehouse operations as required.
