Job summary

Vulcan in Queensland is seeking a reliable warehouse operator to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and accurate pick and packing of sheet products and must operate a 5 tonne counterbalance forklift to Vulcan Standards.

This permanent, full-time role runs afternoon shifts: Mon-Thu 1pm–9:30pm and Fri 9:30am–3:30pm, with training, PPE and uniforms provided after probation. A strong safety ethic and high-risk forklift licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Proven ability to safely pick and pack sheet products.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5 tonne counterbalance forklift safely and to Vulcan standards.
• Accurately pick and pack sheet products.
• Complete relevant paperwork and maintain daily pre-start checks.
• Conduct daily equipment pre-start and perform manual handling tasks as required.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and racking.
