Job summary

Vulcan in Australia is seeking a warehouse operator to run CNC bandsaws and processing equipment, ensuring accurate cutting of steel and aluminium to customer specs. You will measure material for quality, load and unload stock, and prepare orders for dispatch in a safe, tidy workspace.

The role requires pre-employment physicals, adherence to health and safety, and prior production/warehousing experience, with a 5am–1pm shift and a professional but relaxed culture within a growing metals

Qualifications

• Experience operating saws and processing equipment.
• Ability to measure and verify material dimensions for quality.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg.
• Previous production/warehousing experience.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.

What you will be responsible for:

• Operating saws and processing equipment to cut steel and aluminium to customer specifications
• Measuring and checking material to ensure quality and accuracy
• Loading, unloading and handling stock safely
• Preparing processed orders for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Assisting with general warehouse operations as required

• 5am - 1pm shift
• CNC Bandsaw or other CNC machinery experience
• Previous experience in a Production/Warehousing environment
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs
• Sound understanding of health and safety
