Job summary

Coastwide Engineering Pty Ltd in Illawarra / South Coast NSW is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for projects, maintenance, shutdowns and breakdowns.

You will operate a CNC Lathe (FANUC) and Mastercam, follow procedures, and work unsupervised within a team that supports heavy industry clients such as BlueScope and mining operations. Attractive remuneration and overtime available. This role offers a Monday to Friday roster with after-hours callouts as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified Machinist is required.
• Experience operating FANUC control.
• Proven experience in steel, mining, quarry, and heavy industry.
• Ability to work unsupervised with strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Follow company procedures at all times.
• Operate CNC Lathe using FANUC control and Mastercam programming.
• Handle project and maintenance work.
• Provide breakdown response including after-hours callouts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and colleagues.
