Job summary

Warrior Fabrication Pty Ltd – Campbellfield VIC is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Cutting & Press Brake Operator. The role focuses on operating and programming fibre laser cutters and press brakes, reading drawings, and ensuring precise bends across aluminium and steel.

You will maintain quality, operate safely, and support a friendly, collaborative team in a modern fabrications workshop with opportunities to develop additional skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines and/or CNC press brakes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of press brake tooling, bend angles and material thicknesses.
• Ability to use measuring equipment including vernier calipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Fibre laser cutting machines.
• Operate and program CNC press brake machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Set up press brake tooling, including punches and dies.
• Perform accurate bending of Aluminium, Mild steel and Stainless steel components.
• Load and unload metal sheets from laser cutting machines.
• Check finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate cutting and bending results.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Warrior Fabrication Pty Ltd is a growing metal fabrication business based in Campbellfield, Victoria. We specialise in CNC laser cutting, sheet metal bending, Aluminium fabrication, toolboxes and custom metal components.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable CNC Laser Cutting & Press Brake Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Fibre laser cutting machines.

• Operate and program CNC press brake machines.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.

• Set up press brake tooling, including punches and dies.
