Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead Microsoft Azure architecture within a major Australian Government technology program. The role focuses on secure, scalable, and resilient cloud designs from requirements through implementation, with NV1 clearance required.

You will shape governance-aligned solutions, manage technical risks, and work with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into practical Azure patterns across multi-domain environments.

Qualifications

• Significant cloud or digital transformation architecture experience with accountability for architecture decisions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills translating business requirements into practical designs.
• Experience leading complex technology implementations across competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of Australian Government governance, security, assurance and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud solution architectures from requirements through to implementation.
• Design secure, resilient and scalable Microsoft Azure solutions aligned with enterprise requirements.
• Develop solution designs, architecture patterns, standards and implementation guidance.
• Provide architecture oversight, manage technical risks and governance.
