Job summary

Medibank is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect for a 6-month day-rate contract in Melbourne. You will lead AWS-based cloud transformation initiatives, including large-scale migrations and modernisation across a regulated enterprise.

The role blends hands-on architecture with strategic direction, with a weekly attendance at the Melbourne office. The ideal candidate has deep AWS expertise, a track record delivering cloud programs, and experience in regulated industries such as

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and delivering AWS cloud architectures.
• Led or supported enterprise cloud migration programs and application modernisation initiatives.
• Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, insurance or healthcare will be highly regarded. AWS certifications will be viewed favourably.

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join us on a contract basis and help shape the next chapter of our cloud journey. Based in Melbourne, you'll work across a range of high-impact initiatives including large-scale cloud migration, AWS landing zone modernisation and broader cloud transformation projects.

This is an initial 6-month day rate contract at $1,200 per day including super. You may be required to attend our Melbourne office once a week.

What you'll bring

You’ll be a seasoned Solution Architect with deep AWS expertise and a track record of delivering cloud transformation programs within complex enterprise environments.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Significant experience designing and delivering AWS cloud architectures
• Led or supported enterprise cloud migration programs and application modernisation initiatives

Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, insurance or healthcare will be highly regarded. AWS certifications will also be viewed favourably.
