Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a cloud security specialist to take ownership of cloud security and IAM, influence technology decisions, and strengthen the organisation's security posture. You will shape security frameworks, governance and risk, driving meaningful improvements across cloud security and identity controls.

You will provide expert guidance across Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365, partnering with senior stakeholders to raise security maturity and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience across cloud security, IAM and governance.
• Knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, MFA, PIM/PAM and Zero Trust.
• Experience applying security frameworks in complex environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to turn security requirements into practical outcomes.
• SC-300 certification is desirable; Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security governance, risk assessments and assurance.
• Strengthen IAM, privileged access and identity controls.
• Drive security uplift initiatives aligned with Essential Eight, ISM and NIST.
• Provide specialist advice across Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to improve security maturity and resilience.
