Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to join its cybersecurity team in Sydney. You will monitor cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), analyze security events, and work with GIS teams to detect and respond to incidents.

The role requires hands-on cloud security experience, familiarity with Splunk and cloud tools, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Expect 38 hours/week with flexible scheduling to support security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Experience in Cyber Security, Incident Response or related field.
• 2+ years using Splunk in security investigations.
• Experience with cloud security tools and deployments in AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide AWS and Azure Cloud event monitoring and escalation to control partners.
• Update documentation for changes in environment or tooling.
• Tune alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection.
• Articulate threats against cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Utilize Splunk and Log Analytics for cloud logs and incident analysis.
