Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, security operations or IT support.
• Foundational knowledge of detection, investigation or incident response concepts.
• Basic log analysis and telemetry interpretation, familiar with SIEM or query languages.
• Exposure to security platforms like SIEM/EDR/XDR and cloud environments.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attacker TTPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration during investigations.
• Willingness to learn and grow independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Triage alerts and analyze logs/telemetry to assess potential security events.
• Correlate data from endpoint, identity, network and applications to determine risk.
• Assist in investigations, escalate complex findings to senior analysts.
• Perform guided response activities, document findings and coordinate with team.
• Help improve detection fidelity by feedback on false positives and logic.
• Contribute to runbooks, playbooks and automation initiatives with guidance.
