Job summary

xAmplify is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure/Software Engineer in Australia to join our Technology Services team on a key government client. The role focuses on supporting, maintaining and enhancing a complex hybrid environment spanning Azure, Microsoft 365, on-premises infrastructure and critical applications.

You will help ensure reliability, security and performance while driving cloud modernisation, continuous improvement and operational excellence within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in IT environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of Active Directory/Mentra ID and identity management technologies.
• Experience with ITIL-based processes and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimise Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, app, and integration issues.
• Monitor performance, security and availability; identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to automation, change management and DR testing.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and procedures.
