Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to serve as a cloud ambassador, assisting customers with architecture, integration, and best practices across AWS services.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with global engineers, and contribute to improving support processes while delivering world-class customer service in a highly dynamic cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Administration experience with one of SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB or Amazon Aurora.
• Experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu/CentOS/RedHat) and/or Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, LAN/WAN).

Responsibilities

• Solve customer cases via phone, email, and web/live chat with advanced troubleshooting.
• Provide tailored solutions and drive customer interactions to root cause.
• Mentor new hires, develop training materials, and share improvements with teams.
• Create tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles for developers.
• Drive projects to improve support processes and customer experiences.
• Participate in recruiting and process improvements with leadership.
