Job summary

Techforce Personnel is seeking a Senior Field Planner for the Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland. This site-based FIFO role supports Bechtel's delivery of the process plant and non-process infrastructure, requiring strong construction scheduling across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

You will develop and maintain multidisciplinary schedules in Primavera P6, coordinate inputs, analyse critical paths, and produce weekly lookahead and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience across civil, SMP and E&I construction scopes.
• Experience developing Level 1, Level 3 and Level 5 schedules.
• Strong Primavera P6 and MS Office skills.
• Understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and commissioning activities.
• Experience establishing earned value and progress measurement systems.
• Strong communication of schedule performance to management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and maintain multidisciplinary construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate planning inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors and the owner's team.
• Analyse critical and near-critical paths, identify delays and recommend recovery strategies.
• Develop and maintain three-week lookahead schedules.
• Establish quantity tracking, commodity installation curves and progress measurement systems.
• Monitor productivity and schedule performance using earned value principles.
• Prepare monthly schedule commentary, progress reports and schedule impact assessments.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to resolve interfaces and support achievable delivery plans.

You'll bring:
