Mid North Coast Local Health District in Coffs Harbour NSW is seeking a Finance, Contracts & Projects Manager Level 1 to lead financial and contractual management for a portfolio of cancer clinical trials. This temporary part-time role focuses on budget control, contracting, financial reporting, and process improvement to support the Unit's growth.

You will work with investigators, sponsors and teams, requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

Experience in finance, business, contract management or a related field.
Strong financial analysis, budgeting and reporting skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Confidence learning and administering digital systems and databases.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Experience in healthcare, clinical research or regulated environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Lead the financial and contractual management of a diverse clinical trials portfolio.
Ensure studies are financially sustainable, compliant and delivered.
Oversee budgets, contracts, financial reporting and business improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with investigators, sponsors and research teams to support growth of the Unit.
