Job summary

Barwon Health in Geelong is seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support for efficient trial operations. You will manage regulatory documentation, ensure GCP compliance, and liaise with sponsors, contributing to monitoring activities in a dynamic CSTU setting.

The role requires a tertiary science/healthcare degree or substantial health‑care admin experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

• A tertiary degree in science, health care or a related field OR significant administrative experience in a health care facility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal oversight.
• Initiative and self-motivation to daily tasks.
• Demonstrated excellent organizational, problem solving skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

About the role

As a Clinical Trials Assistant you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to enable efficient team and clinical trial operations. The role supports regulatory document management, compliance with GCP and national frameworks, and acts as a key liaison with clinical trial sponsors, including support for monitoring activities.
