Job summary

Zimmer Biomet in Tamworth, NSW, invites an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist to support surgeons in theatre across regional hospitals, performing instrument and robotic-assisted procedures while promoting Zimmer Biomet products and ROSA and mymobility platforms.

Frequent travel within the state is required; the role includes training hospital staff on ROSA robotics and our implant portfolio, with a focus on patient care and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine or Sports/Exercise Science.
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience.
• Passion for health and advancing technologies to improve patient lives.
• Curiosity and drive to explore new ideas in medical tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instrument and robotic-assisted procedures using Zimmer Biomet products.
• Manage surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting ROSA and mymobility.
• Utilise mymobility to improve patient-surgeon communication and care decisions.
• Keep up to date with new surgical techniques and provide in-service training on Zimmer Biomet technologies.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to train and support on ROSA and portfolio solutions.

What You Can Expect

As a Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, you will support surgeons in theatre across hospitals in Tamworth and regional NSW as they perform both instrument and robotic-assisted surgical procedures, promoting Zimmer Biomet’s range of products. This includes our integrated digital platforms such as mymobility® - a digital platform used to inform care decisions and create a new level of connection between patients and their surgeons.

We are open to candidates who are in Tamworth or wanting to make a move to regional NSW.

How You'll Create Impact

• Assist in Instrument and robotic-assisted surgical procedures, ensuring the effective use of Zimmer Biomet’s products

• Managing the surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting the utilisation of ROSA® and mymobility®

• Digital Platforms: Utilise mymobility® to enhance patient-surgeon communication and care decisions

• Keeping up to date with new surgical techniques and providing in-service training around Zimmer Biomet technologies and implant portfolio

• Collaborate and provide training and support to hospital staff on the ROSA® surgical robot on the full suite of ZB technologies and portfolio

What Makes You Stand Out

• Tertiary qualifications: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine or Sports/Exercise Science

• Minimum 4 years of industry experience
