Job summary

Eldercare in Mount Barker, South Australia, is seeking a Registered (Clinical Support) Nurse to deliver high-quality, individualized care and provide on-floor leadership to care staff.

You will complete nursing documentation, participate in wound care, medication administration, and MDT meetings, while upholding our commitment to clinical excellence and resident experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent with 6 months post graduate experience.
• Hold a current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
• Committed to compassionate, resident-centered care and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Leaders with duties and nursing documentation as requested by Clinical Leaders, CCM or Site Operations Manager.
• Monitor residents for potential AN-ACC reclassification and communicate to CCM.
• Attend to wound care and other RN duties including breaks.
• Assist with direct care needs (including medication administration).
• Attend Multi-Disciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with compliance audits as directed by CCM.
• Provide shift coverage for vacant Clinical Leader and other nursing roles as agreed with Site Operations Manager.
• Other duties as specified in the Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator Job & Person Specification.

Job description

As a Registered (Clinical Support) Nurse, you will provide high-quality, individualised care to residents. You will also play a key leadership role by overseeing care staff on the floor, ensuring that all services delivered reflect our commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional resident experience.

Duties include:

• Assist Clinical Leaders with assigned duties and responsibilities as requested by Clinical Leaders, CCM or Site Operations Manager, including c ompletion of nursing documentation (including admissions, care planning, chart evaluations and incident reviews).
• Monitoring of residents for potential AN-ACC reclassification and communicating these to CCM
• Attending to Wound care
• Attending to other RN duties as required (including coverage of breaks).
• Assist afternoon nursing staff with direct care needs (including medication administration).
• Attend Multi-Disciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with compliance Audits as directed by CCM.
• Provide shift coverage for vacant Clinical Leader and other nursing roles as agreed with Site Operations Manager from time to time.

What You Will Bring
