Job summary

Bene Aged Care’s St Agnes team is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse for a full-time maternity leave contract. You will provide clinical leadership, mentor nursing and care teams, and drive high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

Reporting to the Residential Care Manager, you will support quality improvement, ensure best-practice care standards, and build positive relationships with residents, families and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in a Clinical Nurse, Senior Registered Nurse or similar leadership role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for aged care and resident wellbeing
• Current National Police Check and all relevant certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, coaching and support to nursing and care teams
• Monitor and promote best-practice clinical care standards
• Support quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities
• Build positive, collaborative relationships with residents, families and health professionals
• Assist with day-to-day clinical operations of the residential care facility

About the Role

Working closely with the Residential Care Manager, you will provide clinical leadership within the facility, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing guidance, coaching and support to nursing and care teams
• Monitoring and promoting best-practice clinical care standards
• Supporting quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities
• Building positive, collaborative relationships with residents, families and health professionals
• Assisting with the day-to-day clinical operations of the residential care facility
• Leading by example and contributing to a culture of excellence, accountability and resident-centred care

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in a Clinical Nurse, Senior Registered Nurse or similar leadership role
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for aged care and the wellbeing of residents
