Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join the St Agnes team on a full-time maternity leave contract. You will provide clinical leadership, mentor nursing and care staff, and drive safe, high-quality, resident-centred care.

You will lead by example, support the Residential Care Manager, promote best-practice standards, and foster a positive experience for residents and families, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven experience in a Clinical Nurse, Senior Registered Nurse or similar leadership role.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for aged care and the wellbeing of residents.
• Current National Police Check and all relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance, coaching and support to nursing and care teams.
• Monitoring and promoting best-practice clinical care standards.
• Supporting quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities.

About the Role

Working closely with the Residential Care Manager, you will provide clinical leadership within the facility, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:
