Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Educator to join our dynamic and growing Intensive Care Unit team. Working closely with the Nursing Unit Manager, you will identify, develop, implement and evaluate education programs that support clinical excellence and workforce capability within the ICU.
In this role, you will provide clinical teaching, coordinate orientation and competency-based learning programs, facilitate skill accreditation, and support the ongoing professional development of nursing staff and students. You will foster a positive learning culture that promotes evidence-based practice and ensures staff are equipped to deliver high-quality critical care. The successful candidate will also contribute to the delivery of nursing education programs across the district.
To be successful in this position, you will have recent and extensive critical care nursing experience, and demonstrated education skills. Candidates with a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care and current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification are encouraged to apply.
