Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a Clinical Nurse Facilitator within Metro North Mental Health at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. The role blends advanced clinical practice with education, leading workforce development to support recovery-focused mental health care.

You will deliver workplace-based training, coordinate mandatory training, mentor staff, and contribute to quality improvement, policy development and service enhancement across inpatient services.

About the roleAs a Clinical Nurse Clinical Facilitator within Metro North Mental Health - Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, you will combine advanced clinical nursing practice with education and workforce development responsibilities to support the delivery of high-quality, recovery-focused mental health care. You will provide expert clinical knowledge and role modelling while contributing to best practice, leadership and professional development initiatives across inpatient mental health services.Working closely with Nurse Educators and Nurse Unit Managers, you will coordinate and deliver workplace-based training, education and support for nursing staff, including transition programs, mandatory training and postgraduate development.
