Job summary

Metro North Hospital & Health Service is seeking a permanent full-time senior leader to provide strategic managerial and professional advice and expert clinical and operational leadership to the community mental health teams operating from Metro North Mental Health - Redcliffe Caboolture (MNMH-RC).

You will apply expert clinical knowledge to models of care, lead complex cases, and collaborate with the executive team to enhance service delivery and outcomes for consumers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Clinical community mental health expertise and leadership for complex cases.
• Expert-level clinical knowledge to implement service models of care in community mental health settings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with stakeholders across the community mental health sector.
• Ability to collaborate with the MNMH executive leadership to improve service delivery and outcomes.

Job description

Permanent full time opportunity to ensure excellence in community clinical service delivery through the provision of strategic managerial and professional advice, as well as expert clinical and operational leadership to the community mental health teams operating from Metro North Mental Health - Redcliffe Caboolture (MNMH-RC).

• Utilise clinical community mental health expertise to provide expert level clinical input into services and to provide clinical leadership around complex cases.
• Apply expert-level clinical knowledge and skills to the implementation of service models of care in community mental health settings and ensure team members apply best practice principles in the delivery of services.
• Utilise expert communication skills including negotiation and conflict management skills to collaborate with key stakeholders across the community mental health sector to ensure effective and efficient service provision.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team within MNMH to ensure effective cooperation within and across the community mental health services to enhance service delivery and quality outcomes for consumers and internal and external stakeholders.
