Job summary

BlueCare Labrador Gardens Aged Care Facility is seeking a Clinical Nurse for permanent full-time employment. You will provide expert clinical leadership to care staff, contribute to care planning, and support assessment and documentation for complex resident needs.

The role emphasizes quality care, funding optimisation, and multidisciplinary collaboration in an aged care setting. The position requires current AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, and a minimum of three years’

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA (Essential)
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
• Extensive general nursing experience with strong clinical skills
• Experience with ACFI funding and resident funding optimisation
• Person-centred, resident-based care delivery understanding
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical leadership and advice in management of complex resident care needs
• Develop, implement, monitor and review resident care plans to promote wellbeing and quality of life
• Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical assessments and documentation
• Support staff orientation, mentoring and clinical supervision
• Promote collaborative resident care planning and quality activities
