Job summary

Immanuel Gardens Aged Care, part of Lutheran Services, invites a Clinical Manager to lead our clinical team. You will drive care standards, oversee clinical operations, and ensure safe, person-centred care across residents.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will supervise nursing and care staff, manage care planning, medication handling, compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC funding, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration.
• Clinical governance experience including quality systems, audits and risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, Direct Care Minutes, and regulatory requirements under the Aged Care Act 2024.
• Experience overseeing AN-ACC assessments, care planning and clinical documentation.
• High-level clinical assessment, reasoning and decision-making for residents with complex needs.
• Experience in workforce planning, rostering and resource management aligned to resident acuity.
• Willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Job description

We are looking for a Clinical Manager to lead our clinical team at Immanuel Gardens Aged Care, with a strong focus on care standards, staff development and day-to-day clinical operations.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening clinical practices, supporting the team through aged care compliance requirements and ensuring care planning and delivery meet residents changing needs.

Location: Buderim, Sunshine Coast - QLDEmployment Type: Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8 am - 4 pmRemuneration: $128,852 PA + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to Staff Discounts & Benefits

About The Role:

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide clinical leadership across our residential aged care service, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care that meets their individual needs.

About You:

• Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration
• Clinical leadership experience in Residential Aged Care and experience leading clinical teams.
• Demonstrated capability in clinical governance, including quality systems, audits and risk management
• In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, Direct Care Minutes, & regulatory requirements under the Aged Care Act 2024
• Experience overseeing AN-ACC assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
• High-level clinical assessment, reasoning and decision-making skills for residents with complex needs
• Experience in workforce planning, rostering and resource management aligned to resident acuity
• A valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain both.
• Postgraduate qualification or IPC Lead certification
• QLD Driver's Licence
