Job summary

E4 People is seeking an experienced clinical leader to oversee care delivery in a large residential aged care facility in Queensland. As Care Manager, you will lead nursing and care teams to deliver safe, compassionate and individualized resident support, building a high-performing unit focused on quality outcomes.

You will drive clinical governance, processes, and audits while collaborating with the Service Manager on priorities, resources and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with leadership experience in residential aged care.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality standards and compliance.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop teams and improve resident outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate staff and partners in care.
• Infection Prevention and Control qualification is advantageous.

About the role

As Care Manager, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality clinical and personal care, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and individualised support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing clinical care planning, medication management and resident outcomes.
• Maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance requirements.
• Driving audits, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partnering with the Service Manager on operational priorities, resources and quality outcomes.

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven leadership and management experience in residential aged care.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality standards and compliance.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• An Infection Prevention and Control qualification will be highly regarded.
• Full Australian working rights.
