Job summary

Barwon Health is seeking a Technical Officer (Grade 1) in Clinical IT to provide essential ICT support across therapeutic, diagnostic and life-support biomedical equipment. The role covers mobile devices, nurse call systems, duress alarms, audiovisuals and network infrastructure in a busy regional hospital.

This permanent full-time position offers five weeks annual leave, access to ADOs and salary packaging benefits, with opportunities to contribute to patient care and service delivery while

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or relevant certification.
• Demonstrated prior experience as an IT support/technical officer.
• Extensive knowledge of IT networking, system administration and computerised equipment management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and deployment of clinical IT systems, hardware and software.
• Manage telecommunications, mobile devices, nurse call systems and audiovisual systems.
• Perform maintenance of clinical equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
