The Royal Women's Hospital is a leading tertiary care centre focused on women's and newborn health. We seek a Clinical Informatics Officer to design, configure, test, and optimise EMR solutions for virtual care and patient portal services across the Parkville precinct.

You will collaborate with clinicians, consumers and IT teams to deliver digital health innovations, ensure data governance, and support standardised workflows that enhance care delivery for women and families.

Formación

• Epic accreditation or certification (or equivalent experience) and a strong understanding of EMR systems.
• Experience working with healthcare applications, digital health technologies or clinical information systems.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
• Experience delivering or supporting training, change management and user adoption activities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience with Epic EMR environments, virtual care programs, patient portal technologies or project delivery methodologies.
• Experience in the use and governance of AI in healthcare will be highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring data quality and adherence to Parkville Precinct data governance policies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with EMR vendors and Parkville EMR teams to align configurations with local requirements.
• Participation in governance and working groups.
• Delivering requirements of prioritised Virtual Care and Portals initiatives, including scope and deployment timing.
