Job summary

ADF Careers is seeking a Clinical Governance Lead to ensure safe, effective and high-quality health services through oversight of the Clinical Governance Framework and subcontractor compliance. You will apply clinical and governance expertise to manage audits, complaints, incidents, credentialing, governance forums, policy reviews and reporting for ADF candidates.

Reporting to the Head of Health Services, this role suits a healthcare leader with stakeholder engagement and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Tertiary-qualified clinician (nursing or allied health) with 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and risk management frameworks.
• Experience engaging diverse stakeholders including Defence representatives and clinical offices.
• Experience managing governance platforms, quality systems or document control.
• Exceptional written communication and governance reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in clinical governance and credentialing.
• Oversee investigations into privacy breaches, clinical incidents and quality concerns.
• Maintain oversight of subcontractor compliance with the Clinical Governance Framework.
• Develop and execute annual audit programs and monitor corrective actions.
• Lead reviews, updates and publication of policies, procedures and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate governance committees and tripartite forums; track actions and progress.
