Qualifications

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse - Clinical Facilitator to join our South Australian team and support the development of the next generation of nurses. In this role, you will supervise, mentor and support student nurses during their clinical placements with Pop-Up Health, helping them build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills required for professional nursing practice. This is more than a supervision role - you will be a clinical role model and leader, creating a positive learning environment, identifying development opportunities and providing constructive feedback. You will work closely with students, clinical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure placements are safe, engaging and well managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support student nurses throughout their clinical placements.
• Provide constructive feedback and identify learning opportunities appropriate to each student's level.
• Act as a positive clinical role model and leader.
• Monitor student progress and support the development of clinical knowledge and practical skills.
• Confirm and accurately document students' completed clinical hours.
• Support students to apply nursing practice within their scope and AHPRA standards.
• Identify, manage and escalation clinical concerns appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with students, clinical teams and office staff.
• Report incidents, hazards, complaints and risks in line with organisational requirements.
• Maintain a safe, professional and positive clinical learning environment.
• Participate in training and professional development to maintain current clinical knowledge.
• Support continuous improvement of the clinical placement experience.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Lumia Care and Pop-Up Health teams.

About You

We are looking for a confident, approachable and experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys developing others and can provide strong clinical leadership.

You Will Have

• Bachelor of Nursing - essential.
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Broad clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in clinical teaching, student supervision or adult learning is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical judgement, assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and confidently manage challenging situations.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly.
• A positive, professional and supportive approach to student development.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - desirable.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration.
• National Police Clearance.
• DHS/Working with Children Clearance.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Manual Handling Certificate.
• Current SA Driver's Licence.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
