Job summary

Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network in Port Augusta is seeking a Clinical Facilitator – Associate Nurse Unit Manager to support nursing education and clinical leadership across disciplines. The role is full-time and temporary (up to 5 April 2027) with a base salary range of $90,913 – $114,917 per annum.

You’ll mentor staff, guide students and contribute to high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• At least 3 years post-registration experience.
• Experience guiding students and junior nurses.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

About the Role:

You will provide clinical support, education and guidance to nursing staff and students while maintaining a strong clinical focus. You will facilitate learning, support staff development and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

About You:

• Registered or eligible for Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a practising certificate.
• At least 3 years post-registration experience and demonstrated competence in the relevant area.
• Experience providing clinical guidance and direction to students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
• Effective communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a supportive approach to staff development.
• Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision.
