Job summary

Lumia Care Pty is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join as a Clinical Facilitator in South Australia. You will supervise, mentor and support student nurses during clinical placements, acting as a role model and leader to foster a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include tracking progress, providing feedback, and ensuring safe, well-managed placements in collaboration with hospital teams and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing is essential.
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Broad clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in clinical teaching or student supervision is desirable.
• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support student nurses on placements.
• Provide constructive feedback and identify learning opportunities.
• Act as a clinical role model and leader.
• Monitor progress and develop clinical knowledge and skills.
• Document students' completed clinical hours accurately.
• Support students to apply nursing practice within scope and standards.
