Job summary

PPD Search in Australia is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage the order-to-cash process for customers across Australia. You will work closely with sales, warehouse, transport, and finance to ensure timely order handling and issue resolution.

The role requires 3+ years in customer service, strong English communication, and IT literacy. Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Strong service-minded personality able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment across administrative, commercial and financial topics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Logistics preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND BUILD
  • This Customer Service Representative position is the primary point of contact for all customers within Australia supporting all customer service activities related to the order to cash process. The role interacts on a daily base with different departments (mainly sales, warehouse, transportation, supply planners, sales operations, marketing, finance and RA/QA) in order to achieve the committed service level.
  • The position contributes to processing, optimising and monitoring the shipping of complex orders from customers and resolving all order or delivery related challenges along with supporting the sales team and responding to all customer queries, ensuring differentiation by delivering remarkable service and by proactively communicating and offering added value solutions.
  • You are expected to develop an excellent relationship with customers, box movers and distributors as you will be the key contact for all their orders, inquiries, returns, claims, and other requirements. You will handle various documents such as purchase orders, packing lists, invoices and other purchase order related documents and manage all sales orders received and inform customers about order status, deliveries, invoices, and any other order related information the customer needs.
  • You will provide support to projects and commitments requiring an understanding of customer service practices and procedures and run reports for the sales team on product usage, back orders and open orders, and other requests for support.
  • You will prepare quotes for customers and keep the sales team in copy of the quote and follow up on outstanding proforma invoices to gain a purchase order from the customer so sale can be invoiced, reporting weekly about progress.
  • You will take part in quarterly stock counts at the offsite warehouse, ensuring accuracy of products listed and assist in achieving departmental and divisional KPIs and objectives.
WHAT EXPERIENCE/SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • The successful candidate will be a professional who has a strong service minded personality and is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment within a broad range of administrative, commercial, and financial topics.
  • Education: preferablya bachelor’s degree within the field of Economics or Logistics, though not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience of minimum 3 years as a Customer Service Representative.
  • Ability to communicate in a highly effective manner, in English, and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments.
  • You must be IT literate and efficient in an administrative environment with problem solving skills and a great telephone manner.
  • Preferably you will have a working knowledge of SAP S4 Hana, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel; Word; PowerPoint; OneNote and Outlook).
