Job summary

Solventum, a healthcare company with a legacy at 3M, is hiring a Clinical Development Analyst to develop and manage software solutions for Health Information Management. You will leverage expert HIM knowledge and clinical coding to support classification, auditing, and regulatory adherence across a hybrid work setting in Australia.

The role requires 8+ years in HIM, strong English communication, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Health Information Management and/or Product Development preferred.
• Degree: Health Information Manager or equivalent.
• ICD-10-AM coding knowledge desirable; auditing helpful.
• 8+ years HIM experience required.
• Some travel may be required; weekends/evenings could be needed.
• Requires strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance software portfolio to meet regulations and guidelines.
• Meet deadlines per government mandates and market needs.
• Analyze questions, enhancement requests, or defects.
• Test and perform quality control on solutions and interfacing software.
• Develop and implement new policies with development teams as needed.
• Provide expert escalation support on assigned products.
• Assist other clinical development teams with logic problems and train new analysts.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and project planning.
• Maintain classification system expertise for geographic requirements.
• Respond to inquiries regarding disease and procedure classification theory or software content.
• Provide training as requested related to portfolio knowledge.
• Assist Sales/Marketing with asset/content development for portfolio.
