Northern Beaches Neurology is seeking a Clinic Manager and Assistant Practice Manager to oversee front-desk reception, medical administration, and patient experience at our Dee Why clinic, with travel to other Sydney clinics as needed. This role combines hands-on management of day-to-day operations, EMR-led scheduling, billing, compliance, and staff onboarding.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in medical admin, proven leadership, and strong communication to support the Practice

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a medical administration or medical reception role.
• Previous management, team leadership, or supervisory experience essential.
• Proficiency with Medical Billing and EMR software and standard office tools.
• Strong understanding of Medicare processing and healthcare privacy laws.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to lead a small team.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and answer inquiries.
• Coordinate appointment schedules for multiple practitioners via EMR.
• Handle daily billings, Medicare claims, payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain a clean reception area and monitor inventory.
• Support Practice Manager with clinic workflow improvements.
• Schedule administrative staff and train new team members.
• Ensure clinics comply with healthcare regulations and WHS policies.
• Lead ad-hoc admin projects to support business growth.
