Job summary

ALS Environmental in Sydney’s Smithfield Laboratory is seeking a full-time Client Services Officer to liaise with clients, provide technical guidance on environmental analyses, and coordinate project delivery.

You will build strong client relationships, prepare quotations and service reports, and support marketing activities while collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate results and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing roles or a customer service mindset.
• Strong organisation and multitasking to manage competing priorities.
• Professionalism in front-facing environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing timely responses, follow-up and technical guidance, including method selection.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client projects are communicated, prioritised and delivered accurately and on time.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, expressions of interest, monthly service reports, quality plans, project information sheets and work instructions.
• Promote ALS services through client engagement, site visits, conferences, trade exhibitions and marketing activities.
• Coordinate client and project requirements, including sample pickups, container orders, invoice queries, project monitoring and sample receipt activities.
