Job summary

• At least 6 years' experience in all aspects of property law, as a Licensed Conveyancer or experienced property paralegal.
• Excellent presentation with strong command of the English language and communication skills (written and verbal).
• A proactive approach to initiative and problem-solving, with a strong client focus.

• Meeting and greeting clients, answering phone calls, mail distribution, and general administration
• Attending to exchanges and preparing well-drafted precedent post-exchange correspondence
• Drafting settlement figures and liaising with banks, agents, and clients regarding settlements
• Assisting other staff members with the general running of files, and vice-versa
• Managing on-boarding, conveyancing, and tax/stamp duty matters
• Opening files, drafting and exchanging contracts

About The Company

Our client is a well-established firm of specialist property lawyers with 30 years' experience, particularly skilled in large residential and commercial transactions as well as complex strata law matters. Their client base spans the City and Eastern Suburbs through to Watsons Bay, as well as clients more broadly across NSW.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with the firm's principal and senior staff, managing the daily running of files from commencement through to completion.

Reporting directly to the Principal, some of your responsibilities will include:

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 6 years' experience in all aspects of property law, as a Licensed Conveyancer or experienced property paralegal

• A proactive approach to initiative and problem-solving, with a strong client focus
• Strong technical knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT), LEAP, and PEXA
• The ability to collaborate and work effectively within a dynamic team
