Job summary

Ozcare is seeking a part-time Client Services Assistant for our Ayr Aged Care Facility, focused on supporting clients in the kitchen and dining areas. You will assist with meal preparation, help maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen spaces, and contribute to laundry and general facility upkeep.

A warm, caring attitude and flexibility to a varied roster are essential. Applicants should have experience in domestic or commercial cleaning and in assisting frail aged persons.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in domestic or commercial settings.
• Experience assisting frail aged persons is preferred.
• Vaccination against influenza and Covid-19 may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation as directed by the Cook.
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals or as required.
• Perform laundry tasks if required.
• Clean the Facility with emphasis on WH&S areas such as toilets and floors.

Ozcarehas a part-time position available for a Client Services Assistant supporting our clients at our Ayr Aged Care Facility, working in our kitchen.

Your Role

As a Client Services Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services (if required)
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with particular emphasis on areas where Workplace Health & Safety matters often arise toilets, floors etc.

Role Requirements

• Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• Current Police Screening Certificate
• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning
• Previous experience in assisting frail aged persons
