Job summary

Ozcare in Ayr is seeking a part-time Client Services Assistant to support our aged care clients in the facility kitchen and related areas.

You will assist with meal preparation, clean dining and service areas, handle laundry tasks, and contribute to a hygienic, safe environment while showing warmth, flexibility and a caring attitude to residents and colleagues. Experience in cleaning and a patient-centered approach are valued, and you will work a varied roster across shifts.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• Current Police Screening Certificate.
• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Previous experience in assisting frail aged persons.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation as directed by the Cook.
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals.
• Perform tasks associated with laundry services (if required).
• Clean the Facility with emphasis on areas where WH&S matters arise (toilets, floors, etc.).
